General

This site works best with Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5 or above or Netscape version 6 or above. It is designed to suit many screen resolutions and will accommodate 640x480. Those using a higher resolution such as 800x600 or greater will have some white space to the right of their screen. This is part of the design and not a browser glitch.

Site Updates

Recent additions to the site will be listed in the main page (about us), along with appropriate links.

Navigating the Site

Finding your way around our web site is simple as all the main sections are grouped within the main navigation menu found at the top of each page. The section headings are self-explanatory and you can also switch from either of the official languages from any page within our web site.

Once you are within a specific section of our site, you will find specific navigation links within the sidebar menu that can be found in the left margin of each page, where applicable. For example, the Wings section has a link to each individual Wing in the sidebar menu. Once you select a specific Wing, the sidebar menu changes to the links that apply to the Wing in question. The same design standards apply throughout the site.

The main feature throughout the design is that you can jump from one section to another by using the top menu, thus avoiding the need to "backtrack" a few steps to access other areas of interest.

Reading PDF Documents

Some documents such as notices or minutes of various meetings may be available throughout our site. These documents are published in Adobe Acrobat format (.pdf files) and require Acrobat Reader to be viewed on your computer. If you do not have this software, click the link below to download the latest version free of charge. Installation is quite straightforward and as for any installation, we recommend you disable any anti-virus and terminate other programs before proceeding so that the installation programs functions as expected.

Specific e-mail links are also included where applicable such as for sending a message to a member of a Wing's executive. Each link automatically includes a default subject for your message so that the recipient will know that the e-mail received is in connection with AFAC.
