Your privacy is important to us. Consequently, we do not collect any personal information or other electronic data that could be used in identifying visitors to our web site. Cookies or other forms of storing information are not part of the design of this site.

Personal information obtained via various forms of communications (e-mail, telephone, faxes, etc.) is kept strictly confidential and is reserved for the sole use of the Webmaster and other Officers of Quebec Group.

Spam and E-mail Spoofing

We have recently noticed a significant increase in SPAM (unsolicited e-mail advertisements) being received by various AFAC officers listed throughout this Web site. This results from various forms of abuse by individuals or agencies in using robots or other means that scan Web sites for e-mail addresses.

Another unfortunate situation has arisen whereby our e-mail addresses are used by spammers who are faking their identity (spoofing), thus making it appear that the spam received could originate from one of our officers: (someone@airforce.qc.ca).

We at the Air Force Association of Canada respect and fully endorse generally accepted codes of conduct and ethics regarding the legitimate use of the Internet as a valuable communications tool. We do not send SPAM or other unsolicited e-mail at-large.

Anyone found to be using our domain name for spoofing purposes, and anyone issuing SPAM to e-mail addresses found within the "airforce.qc.ca" domain will be subject to action ranging from notifying their ISP to a formal complaint being made to the RCMP Computer Crimes Division. SPAM or "Spoofing" originators from outside Canada will be subject to similar provisions and full disclosure of Internet logs will be forwarded to the originating national law enforcement agency.
