Membership in AFAC - Membership Categories

Membership Categories

Wing members belong to one of the 76 Wings located in communities in Canada and the United States.

Members-at-Large have no Wing affiliation but are therefore affiliated with National HQ.

Dual memberships are available to couples if both individuals qualify for regular memberships, but desire only one copy of Airforce mailed to their joint residence.

Associate membership is available for individuals who lack qualifications for regular membership (subject to approval). This approval may be granted either by a Wing or by National HQ membership staff.

Honorary membership can be granted by Wings or by National HQ, subject to the guidelines set forth in the Constitution and By-Laws of the Air Force Association of Canada.

Life membership can be granted by National HQ, subject to recommendations made by Wings or Groups and in accordance with the guidelines set forth in the Constitution and By-Laws of the Air Force Association of Canada. A life membership is the most significant and prestigious award that can be granted to a member of AFAC.
